Tributes in words and music

"I will always remember Jamie and miss him very much"

"Wee" George Rae, P2

Who drew his card and brought it to our door

"I will really miss Jamie, he was such a lively boy and very kind hearted.

He tried very hard in every thing he did even the things he didn't like.

Jamie was a fabulous boy with a great personality

and I am very, very sorry."

Sarah MacWilliam, P6

Who wrote her very special letter and brought it with her Mum

as the first visitors to our door the day after Jamie's accident

"I was completely heartbroken to hear about Jamie. He was funny, kind, polite and so enthusiastic at everything he did. He would NEVER be

horrible to anyone. He always took the bright side of things.

At every Scouts meeting Jamie came bright and cheery, and there was

never a dull moment with him. I never thought of him just as another Scout but as a great, trustworthy companion."

Josh McKenzie, Aviemore Scout Pack

Who signed his card from "an extremely caring Scout friend"

"Your smile looking straight at me
Your eyes are the stars
Your cheeks are the roses smelling sweet

And I will remember you
Yes, I will always think of you
Forever more
"

Rachel Sermanni, P7

Who composed her song "Your smile" for Jamie and sang it so perfectly

to a packed hall at our Jamie Weekend in January 2004

"You were my best friend
In every way
Wish I could go back
And change that day
You gave me everything
I didn't need
But now I need you
So hear my plea
"

Bryce Hope, P7

Who wrote his song "Changes" for his best friend of many years

"Hi Jamie, Jasmine here, just thought that I would write a letter to you explaining that I will never forget you! I really miss not having you around because if I was upset you would always be there for me with a shoulder to cry on. And at school if I had done a small talk or play in front of the class or even the whole school, when it was over you would come over to me and say something that would make me feel so good inside."

Jasmine MacInnes, P7

Who visited Jamie at the cemetery with flowers on New Year's Eve

and left her letter there for him in February
