11 Jun 2006 - The Valhalla Triangle marks its world premiere!
News has come through from Minds Ear Audio Productions in the USA, that the first episode of The Valhalla Triangle by David Gasking will receive its world premiere broadcast this evening on station WHFB, Bloomington, Indiana, with simultaneous web-streaming to listeners further afield over the internet.
Schedules have been changed at very short notice to allow the entire series to be broadcast over a period of six weeks as part of the Sunday evening Fire House Theatre programme on WHFB hosted by Richard Fish, a very well known character in American radio circles.
Richard Fish has a particularly personal interest in the success of The Valhalla Triangle, having himself taken on the role of Almighty Odin in the Minds Ear recording of the series. In addition to this wonderful opportunity to present the 6-episode show to the ears of a dedicated audience, Richard has also undertaken to bring the CD set to the attention of one or two other very well known names in the radio field, all of which bodes well tor the success of the Minds Ear recordings and the associated collection of profits on behalf of The Jamie Fund.
Discussions are now underway to arrange for David Gasking to take part in a live telephone interview with Richard Fish and others on the Fire House programme, prior to the broadcast of the final episode on 16 July.
Fire House Theatre on WHFB goes out on Sunday evenings from 8.00-10.00 pm, Eastern Daylight Time - 5 hours behind the UK. For those with access to appropriate web-streaming capabilities, the show can be followed live at: www.wfhb.org/listen.shtml
