8 Nov 2005 - Hey, Mr Big! on Grampian TV

Reporter Nicola Mcalley from Grampian TV, who previously visited Carr-Bridge the week after Jamie's accident for the opening of the Book of Condolences at the Primary School, made a rather happier return visit to the village last week to report on the growing success with the sale of Hey, Mr Big! to raise money for The Jamie Fund.

The news item broadcast today, featured David Gasking talking about the motivation behind the writing of the book plus James Ross of Landmark Press on the invaluable role that this Carr-Bridge-based company has played in delivering parcels of books throughout throughout the North of Scotland at no cost.

Nicola clearly went away highly impressed by the support provided by Landmark Press, as well as the many other individuals and organisations who have provided help with the promotion, distribution and sale of the book this year without thought for personal profit.

In a year when TV screens have so often been dominated by bad news, perhaps others too will have felt their hearts lightened by a story of hope arising out of tragedy.
