21 Nov 2004 - The Mr Big website really takes shape
Work to expand and develop the Mr Big website has been progressing during the gaps in the final proofing stages for the book Hey, Mr Big!
The first priority when the site was set up was to explain the background to the Jamie Fund, the Mr Big Group and the forthcoming book.
Since then a large "what's in the book?" section has been added, which offers the chance to read extracts from Hey, Mr Big! and to see some of the colour originals for the black and white pictures that appear in the book.
Now, with the introduction of the section of interesting and fun links for children, the essential outline of the website can truly be said to be complete.

As with the writing of the book, the aim in my mind throughout the website design process has been to try to create something as close as possible to what Jamie would have appreciated most. For me, these are his colours, his pictures and his words.
And in setting up the children's section I have looked for his curiosity, his interests and most of all his fun which he always enjoyed sharing with his friends - the ones who remember him now for his smile, his laughter, his games and his jokes.
Finally, my thanks to BT and their partners ik.com for the provision of a truly worthy system of community websites for non-profit making organisations such as the Mr Big Group. No advertising, no pop-ups, no cost - what more could you ask?
